Job summary

Turning Point Scotland is seeking a dedicated Support Practitioner to work in North Lanarkshire. The role involves helping adults with varying needs in 1:1 or small group settings, enabling engagement in hobbies and community activities to build independence.

We offer full and part-time hours plus relief shifts. A driving licence is essential, and comprehensive training is provided. Salary is £25,878–£26,843 per year on a permanent contract, with travel time paid and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• No previous working experience is required; full training will be provided.
• A driving licence and access to a car are essential due to service locations.
• IT skills are required for all vacancies and applicants must be able to register with the SSSC within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support to adults with a range of needs on a 1:1 basis or with others.
• Support participation in community activities and promote skills and independence.
• Attend community groups and accompany service users to activities and trips.
• Assist with personal care and promote comfort and wellbeing.
• Celebrate achievements to create a rewarding environment.
