Job summary

Shaw Trust in Huddersfield is seeking IPS Employment Specialists to support individuals seeking work and the employers who need talent. You will manage a caseload, provide tailored, one-to-one guidance, and help clients find and sustain roles that match their goals.

This is a performance-focused, community-based role across West Yorkshire, with assessments and referrals, close work with health professionals, employers, and local services.

Qualifications

• Experience in IPS or employment support is preferred.
• Experience working with people with health needs is advantageous.
• DBS checks and background verification are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the IPS model with full training provided.
• Provide person-centred advice and vocational guidance.
• Build relationships with local employers to identify roles.
• Support clients from referral through job search to placement and in-work support.
• Champion social inclusion and wellbeing through employment.
