Job summary

Nudge Education Limited delivers personalised 1:1 and 2:1 support for children and young people with SEN, SEMH, and complex needs in community settings, homes or online. This role operates outside standard classrooms, offering creative, trauma-informed, and bespoke learning experiences for individual students.

You’ll build trusted relationships, monitor progress, and work with families and professionals to keep safeguarding and wellbeing at the core of practice, while travelling between sessions

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience supporting children or young people with SEN, SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or complex needs.
• Trauma-informed practice, de-escalation, and safeguarding.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a reliable vehicle.
• Commit to a minimum of 3 days per week during daytime hours.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience with ASD.
• Experience with mental health conditions (OCD, paranoia, hallucinations).

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised 1:1 and 2:1 sessions in community settings, homes, or online.
• Build trustful relationships grounded in trauma-informed care and emotional regulation.
• Monitor student engagement, maintain case records, complete risk assessments, and report safeguarding details promptly.
• Collaborate with families, carers, regional support teams, and external specialists to align on goals.
