Job summary

Nudge Education Limited is seeking compassionate, creative practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 and 2:1 support for children and young people with SEN, SEMH, and complex needs in community settings outside standard classrooms.

You will design safe, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences bespoke to each student, with travel between sessions and flexible daytime hours. A driving licence and safeguarding commitments are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEMH/ASD/ADHD/complex needs.
• Trauma-informed practice and safeguarding understanding.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week during daytime hours.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience working in SEMH School, PRU or other alternative provision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 and 2:1 sessions in community settings, homes, or online.
• Establish trusting relationships grounded in trauma-informed care, de-escalation and emotional regulation.
• Monitor progress, maintain case records, complete risk assessments and report safeguarding details promptly.
• Collaborate closely with families, carers, regional support teams and external specialists to align on goals.
