Job summary

Rapport, a guest services provider, seeks a warm and professional Community Ambassador to join our client’s Glasgow offices. You’ll be part of a small on-site team delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting events.

Must be available for full-time, 40 hours weekly, with vetting including UK address proof for the last 6 years. We offer a pension, wellness programs, learning opportunities, and recognition awards, plus exclusive staff discounts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in customer service corporate, luxury hotel, or premium airline environments.
• Proactive and energetic with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a seamless, welcoming experience for clients, guests and colleagues.
• Manage reception duties in person, by phone and email with professionalism.
• Maintain knowledge of building and facilities to assist visitors.
• Coordinate on-site events and client activities.
• Ensure reception areas reflect a professional, inviting environment.
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver cohesive service.
• Handle meeting room and travel bookings, invoices, and gifts.
• Provide onboarding support for new starters on their first day.

Job Introduction

We are looking for a warm, professional, and people-focused Community Ambassador to join the Rapport family at our client's stunning offices in the heart of Glasgow. You will be part of a close-knit on-site team of 4, supported by a wider network of 29 receptionists across the UK who share knowledge and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The Client is an American multinational investment management and financial services company, and you will play a crucial role in providing the highest level of service and care to the client, its customers, guests, and service partners in line with service level agreements and set policies and procedures.

Type of contract: Full-time, 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday, shift rota basis between 8 AM and 6 PM)

Employment will be subject to a successful vetting outcome which includes a requirement of proof of a UK address for the last 6 years.

Main responsibilities

• Deliver a seamless and welcoming experience for all clients, guests, and colleagues, ensuring every interaction reflects Rapport's high service standards.
• Confidently manage reception duties, including handling enquiries in person, by phone, and via email with professionalism and efficiency.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the building and facilities to provide accurate information and assistance to visitors.
• Coordinate and support the smooth delivery of on-site events and client activities.
• Take pride in the presentation and upkeep of reception areas, ensuring they always reflect a professional and inviting environment.
• Collaborate with partner teams across the business to uphold a cohesive, "one team" approach to service delivery.
• Oversee key administrative tasks such as meeting room and travel bookings, invoice processing, and gift arrangements.
• Provide a welcoming and well-organised induction experience for new starters, supporting them on their first day.
