We are recruiting for a Relief Me Time Facilitator. In this role, you will be a valued member of the Me Time Team, supporting people in various community settings.

Me Time is Mencap’s social inclusion, leisure, and community-based programme. It helps people with learning disabilities develop skills, confidence, expand networks, and be fully included in their local community.

The programme offers support through activities and assistance in accessing local opportunities. Participants choose activities like arts & crafts, gardening, drama, sports, cooking & baking, and ICT skills, providing opportunities to learn, develop, and build friendships.

As a Relief Facilitator, you will be flexible and committed to supporting individuals.

Key responsibilities:
  1. Contribute actively by providing ideas and solutions to improve performance.
  2. Ensure support plans are person-centred and involve the individual in planning and review.
  3. Be creative, dynamic, and adaptable to challenging scenarios.
  4. Complete paperwork accurately and timely, maintaining high-quality records.
  5. Communicate with dignity and respect.
  6. Build rapport with individuals and the wider community, including family members.
  7. Support individuals to make decisions, access opportunities, and lead fulfilling lives.
