Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment is sourcing Commissioning Engineers for roles in the East Midlands, Derby. The positions involve day/night shifts and a strong focus on electrical/control system commissioning across several projects.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of commissioning experience.
• Electrical or control engineering background and qualification.
• Full UK driving licence and clear criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning across multiple projects with the project team.
• Check equipment installation to standard before testing.
• Perform system tests per Installation and Commissioning Test documents.
• PLC data input tests and field device integration.
• Produce RAMs, test docs, and weekly progress reports.
• Attend site meetings and client-facing test conditions.
• Handover to the customer with professional representation.
