Job summary

TipTopJob is recruiting for Installation and Commissioning Engineer roles based in Derby with UK coverage. Salary negotiable around £45k–£55k, with overtime, pension, bonuses and generous holidays.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of commissioning experience and hold an HND or higher in electrical or control engineering, plus a full UK driving licence and security-clearance eligibility. The role includes flexible benefits and career progression.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commissioning experience
• Full UK driving licence
• EDU/EEA/Swiss passport for working in Europe
• No criminal convictions for security clearance

Responsibilities

• Check installation of equipment to standard before testing
• Test system per Installation and Commissioning Test document
• Input PLC data and verify operation with plant and field devices
• Site acceptance tests and fault finding in PLC code/wiring
• Produce RAMs, test docs, and progress reports
• Attend site meetings and represent the business during client tests
