Job summary

SumUp Inc. is seeking a driven Field Sales Partner to build a business across the UK through face-to-face visits with SMEs such as retailers, restaurants, and beauty salons.

You will operate as a self-employed professional, earning uncapped upfront commissions and recurring revenue while shaping your own diary and pipeline. You will receive coaching from experienced field sales leaders and have access to SumUp’s trusted fintech products to help merchants modernize payments and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-rejection, face-to-face or B2B sales environments.
• Self-employed with financial resilience to bridge initial pipeline-building phase.
• Strong objection-handling skills; treat every rejection as data.
• Self-directed; no need for daily management or micro-supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prospect a minimum of 30 local SMEs daily through face-to-face visits and outbound outreach.
• Consultative selling: analyse merchant pain points and present SumUp ecosystem as the solution.
• Own your designated territory and manage CRM to progress merchants from conversation to onboarding.
• Create at least three real sales conversations daily and close 3–5 new merchant partnerships weekly.
