Job summary

The Sloane Club Management is seeking a hospitality-focused team member to contribute to the smooth running of the Club’s Restaurant and deliver top-level guest service to members and their guests.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of food and beverage items, strong teamwork, and the ability to set up rooms to the original floor plan while maintaining cleanliness and stock levels across the service areas.

• Punctual and able to adhere to a weekly rota.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control all duties and mis-en-place through all service times.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items on sale to members.
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of the table layout and numbers for each room.
• Complete the cleaning rota on a daily basis.
• Be punctual and adhere to a weekly rota.
• Be able to work within a team efficiently and effectively.
• Give constructive input when required.
• Have knowledge of all details relevant to the building.
• Maintain good customer relations with members and guests.
• Set up all rooms to their original floor plan.
• Ensure main fridge is stocked, clean and tidy before each service.
• Stock bread station, clean and tidy.
• Stock and keep coffee station clean and presentable.
• Check coffee and tea stock levels.
• Ensure glasswasher is ready before service and clean.
• Stock linen cupboard and keep clean and tidy.
• Clean and polish crockery and silverware to high standards.
• Deliver drinks from the bar and hot drinks to tables.
• Be knowledgeable of menu dishes and concept.
• Deliver dishes/food from kitchen pass to the tables.

Responsible for participating in all activities of the Club, to contribute to the smooth running of the Restaurant, ensuring the highest levels of guest service.

• Constantly checking the coffee and tea stock levels.
• Make sure that the glasswasher is ready before service and always kept clean.
• Make sure the linen cupboard is stocked properly and always kept clean and tidy.
• Ensuring all crockery and silverware is cleaned and polished to the highest standard.
• Responsible for delivering drinks/beverages from the bar.
• Responsible for making all hot drinks and delivering them to the table.
• Be fully knowledgeable of the menu dishes and concept.
• Responsible for delivering dishes/food from the kitchen pass to the tables.
