Chelsea Arts Club Limited is seeking a professional Waiter to deliver warm, attentive service in a Private Members’ Club in London. You will work across dining rooms, bar service, and events, ensuring high standards and guest satisfaction.
You will know the menu, wine and beverages, assist with dietary requirements, and liaise with kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service in a fast-paced environment.
To deliver an exceptional dining and service experience toMembers and their guests within aPrivateMembers’Club. The Waiter plays a key role in providing attentive, professional, and personable service across all food and beverage offerings, ensuringClub standards and expectations are consistently met.
Provide warm, professional, and engaging service toMembers and guests at all times, to the style and standard as specified by theDining RoomManager.
Set up,maintain, and clear tables to the required standardofservice.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, using theClub’s ordering systems.
Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation and attention to detail.
To have full knowledge of the dishes,winesand beverageson the menu andprovide explanations andoffer recommendations whenappropriate.
Be competent in advisingdinerswith food allergies or dietary requirements by liaising with the kitchen and bar teams.
Support service across à la carte dining, bar service, functions, and private events.
Ensure service areas are clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout service.
Adhere to all food hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulationsand ensure the Dining Room ismaintainedtoa high levelof cleanliness.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to deliver seamless service.
HandleMember requests and queries professionally, escalating issues whenrequired.
Follow cash handling and payment procedures accurately.
Support colleagues and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
Previousexperience as a Waiter or in a similar front-of-house role within hospitality
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
High levelof attention to detail and presentation
Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and events
A team-focused attitude with a willingness to support colleagues
Experience working in a high-quality hospitality setting (PrivateMembers’Club, hotel, or premium restaurant) – desirable
Knowledge of food safety and service standards – desirable
Food Safety / Food Hygiene Level 2 – desirable
