Job summary

The Sloane Club is seeking a hospitality professional to contribute to the smooth running of the Restaurant and ensure the highest levels of guest service for members and their guests.

Responsibilities include managing duties and mise-en-place, knowledge of food and beverage items, table layouts, room setup, and maintaining cleanliness across stations. You will work in a team to deliver timely service and uphold the club’s standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or fine dining is preferred.
• Strong guest service orientation and ability to anticipate needs.
• Ability to work as part of a team across service areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control all duties and mise-en-place across service times.
• Have knowledge of all food and beverage items on sale to members.
• Be aware of table layouts and room numbers; maintain the cleaning rota daily.
• Be punctual and adhere to a weekly rota; work efficiently in a team.
• Ensure good customer relations with members and guests; set up rooms to original floor plan.
• Deliver drinks from the bar and hot drinks to tables; manage crockery and silverware cleanliness.

Job Summary:

Responsible for participating in all activities of the Club, to contribute to the smooth running of the Restaurant, ensuring the highest levels of guest service.

• Manage and control all duties and mis-en-place through all the different service times.


• Have a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items on sale to members.


• Have a comprehensive knowledge of the table layout and numbers for each room.


• Complete the cleaning rota on a daily basis.


• Be punctual and adhere to a weekly rota.


• Be able to work within a team efficiently and effectively.


• Give constructive input when required.


• Have a sound knowledge of all details relevant to the building.


• Always maintain good customer relations with our members and their guests.


• Have the knowledge and ability to set up all rooms to their original floor plan.


• Make sure the main fridge is stocked, clean and tidy at all times before each service.


• Make sure that the bread station is always stocked, clean and tidy.


• Make sure the coffee station is stocked and kept consistently clean and presentable.


• Constantly checking the coffee and tea stock levels.


• Make sure that the glasswasher is ready before service and always kept clean.


• Make sure the linen cupboard is stocked properly and always kept clean and tidy.


• Ensuring all crockery and silverware is cleaned and polished to the highest standard.


• Responsible for delivering drinks/beverages from the bar.


• Responsible for making all hot drinks and delivering them to the table.


• Be fully knowledgeable of the menu dishes and concept.


• Responsible for delivering dishes/food from the kitchen pass to the tables.
