Job summary

Big Mamma Ltd in the UK is seeking a passionate Commis Pastry Chef to join our growing group of Italian restaurants. You will prepare desserts following Big Mamma recipes and support chefs during prep and service.

We offer a permanent, full-time role with 15.96/hour total package (base pay + tronc), daily staff meals, 15% employee discount, and opportunities across the UK & Ireland restaurants.

Qualifications

• Previous experience or training as a Commis Pastry Chef.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible to evenings and weekends.
• High-volume kitchen experience is a plus.
• Passion for Italian food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare desserts following Big Mamma recipes and quality standards.
• Support the Chef de Partie and senior chefs during prep and service.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, organisation and food safety.
• Work efficiently during busy services with a positive, proactive mindset.
• Help create the best moment of our guests' day through every plate.
