Job summary

Novotel London Stansted is seeking a Commis Chef to join our Kitchen team. You will support the Chef de Partie with mise-en-place and cooking, helping deliver high-quality dishes for guests in a fast-paced setting.

You will prepare and present dishes to brand standards, ensuring they are ready for service on time. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all workspaces is essential for smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment preferred.
• Able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Friendly, can-do attitude with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie with mise-en-place and cooking.
• Prepare dishes to brand standards and ensure timely service.
• Keep equipment and workspaces clean and hygienic in line with food safety requirements.

What you will do

Commis Chefs are an integral part of our Kitchen team, and they embrace every opportunity to help contribute to creating delicious food for our guests.Assisting the Chef de Partie with preparation of mis-en-place and cooking food to the required high standards.Preparing dishes so they are ready for guests at the right time, in line with brand standards.Ensuring equipment and workspaces are kept clean and tidy and in line with food hygiene requirements
