Job summary

Novotel London Stansted is recruiting a Commis Chef to join our Kitchen team. You will assist the Chef de Partie with mise-en-place and cooking, ensuring dishes are prepared to brand standards and served on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or commis role is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to maintain high hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie with mise-en-place and cooking to high standards.
• Prepare dishes on time to meet guest expectations and brand standards.
• Keep equipment and workspaces clean and tidy, following hygiene guidelines.

Salary – £27,560 plus Tronc
Staff accommodation- available from £338 per month per person

• Assisting the Chef de Partie with preparation of mis-en-place and cooking food to the required high standards.
• Preparing dishes so they are ready for guests at the right time, in line with brand standards.
• Ensuring equipment and workspaces are kept clean and tidy and in line with food hygiene requirements.
