Job summary

Novotel London Stansted is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead a large team and uphold the hotel’s high cleanliness and service standards. You will develop efficient routines, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include budgeting, audits, staff coaching, and addressing guest concerns with a proactive, professional approach. A 4-star hotel background and excellent English are preferred.

Our four-star hotel includes eight meeting rooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 250 guests. It also provides fitness facilities and ample parking for both guests and employees.

The Head Housekeeper in our stylish hotel inspires the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout, creating a welcoming and immaculate environment that consistently exceeds guests’ expectations.

• Lead and manage a large housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and implement efficient housekeeping procedures and best practices.
• Ensure company brand standards of quality and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
• Prepare and monitor the annual departmental operating budget, with a focus on occupancy, payroll costs and departmental expenses.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.
• Address any guest concerns promptly, attentively and efficiently.
• Coach, train, and support the team to provide consistently high standards while continually looking to improve.
