Job summary

St. Aldates Tavern in Oxford City Centre is seeking a Commis Chef to join a busy kitchen that serves a real ale-loving crowd with a small but strong menu. You will work under skilled chefs, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to daily dish prep and service.

The role offers apprenticeship access, masterclasses, staff discounts, weekly pay, free meals, pension, and 28 days holiday, with a friendly team and room to develop into more senior kitchen roles.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Commis Chef or Kitchen Porter.
• Passion for quality fresh food and customer-friendly service.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
