Job summary

The Inn Collection Group in Coniston, Lake District, is seeking a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. You will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality dishes and maintain exacting standards, taking responsibility for your section and food safety practices.

Whether you’re starting out or studying, you’ll contribute to recipes, labeling, storage and kitchen workflow in a fast-paced, supportive environment with a focus on hospitality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Passion for food and desire to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to work with kitchen, front-of-house and management teams.
• Studying or experience in culinary field encouraged.
• Commitment to food safety, labeling and following recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items and operate standard kitchen equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and store items properly.
