Job summary

Upham Inns is recruiting a Commis Chef for their growing pub group in the Southern England area. You will assist with food preparation, ensure quality dishes, and help with deliveries and stock rotation in a friendly, kitchen-focused team.

We offer up to £13 per hour plus a share of Tronc (potentially up to £5,000 annually), flexible shifts, and strong development pathways to Chef de Partie and Head Chef roles. Staff discounts and lifestyle benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of all kitchen sections and health and safety practices.
• Ability to work under supervision and deliver quality food.
• Good oral communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the food preparation process.
• Cook and prepare elements of high quality dishes.
• Prepare vegetables, meats and fish.
• Assist other Chefs and manage deliveries/restocking.
