Job summary

The Wheelwright's Arms is seeking a reliable Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. You will assist in food prep, cook elements of dishes, and help with deliveries and stock rotation in a busy pub setting.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of all kitchen sections.
• Ability to work under supervision of a limited range.
• Ability to produce good quality basic food.
• Understanding of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the food preparation process.
• Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes.
• Preparing vegetables, meats and fish.
• Assisting other Chefs.
• Helping with deliveries and restocking.
• Assisting with stock rotation.
• Cleaning stations.
• Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
• Comply with all Food safety, fire, Health and safety, licensing and employment laws.
