Job summary

BM Caterers is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team and grow with us. You’ll support food preparation, assist the Head Chef, and help deliver fresh, well-presented meals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Passion for food and a willingness to learn.
Positive and hardworking attitude in a busy kitchen.
Ability to work well in a busy kitchen with good teamwork.
Strong communication with the kitchen team.
Commitment to quality and presentation of dishes.
Basic food hygiene knowledge or training is helpful.

Responsibilities

Supporting food preparation and service.
Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team.
Helping deliver fresh, balanced and well-presented food.
Keeping kitchen and storage areas clean and organised.
Following food safety and kitchen procedures.
Learning new skills and building confidence.
Contributing to a positive team culture.
