Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team and help prep, create and bring our pub menu to life. You’ll learn new prepping skills, bring a meal to life for the team, and own a section of the kitchen in a fast-paced environment.

We’ll support your career progression through our DNA pathway with the goal of becoming a Sous Chef, while benefiting from a friendly, lively atmosphere and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or as KP.
• Willingness to learn kitchen areas and procedures.
• Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day operations.
• Passion for delivering great, hot food to spec every time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in cooking for pub menu.
• Learn and apply kitchen procedures and sections.
• Support daily kitchen operations and team tasks.
• Ensure dishes are cooked to spec and served hot.
