Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a Commis Chef to join our busy Belfast hotel kitchen. You will work as part of a skilled team, preparing and cooking a range of dishes to menu specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Key duties include assisting senior chefs, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene, and complying with food safety regulations. This role requires flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support the guest service expectation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commis Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting with a strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques, and a willingness to continually develop culinary skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions from senior chefs.
• A commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including adherence to food safety regulations and proper use of kitchen equipment and cleaning products.
• Good communication skills, willingness to work as part of a team, and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• As a Commis Chef in our busy hotel, you will work as part of a kitchen team to prepare and cook a range of dishes to menu specifications. You will assist senior chefs with food preparation and ensure that all food is prepared and served to a high standard of quality and presentation.
