Job summary

The Club Company is seeking a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team at one of our premium golf and country clubs in the UK. You will assist the Sous Chef with food preparation to specification, sourcing ingredients and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone 18+ with basic Food Safety qualifications and hospitality experience. The role supports frontline kitchen operations across a 7-day schedule, including evenings for events, with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• GCSE qualification and/or Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards.
• Previous hospitality industry cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sous Chef with food preparation to specification in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Source ingredients and small equipment, minimise wastage, maintain a clean workstation and ensure safe food handling.
• Assist during busy periods and participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
