Job summary

Ibis Budget London Heathrow Central is seeking a Commis Chef to support the kitchen team in delivering quality food in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will assist with mise-en-place, food preparation, and ensuring brand standards are met.

The role requires reliability, a positive attitude, and teamwork. Training may be provided for Food Safety Level 2; morning, evening, weekends and bank holidays shifts expected. This position offers entry to Accor's global network and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience in a hotel, restaurant or catering environment (preferred but not essential).
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes to agreed brand and company standards.
• Ensure all mise-en-place is prepared and ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and hygiene across all kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety procedures from storage through to preparation and service.
• Support the Chef team during breakfast, lunch, dinner and event service.
• Help with stock rotation, deliveries and storage procedures.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a great guest experience.
• Carry out any additional kitchen duties as requested by senior chefs or management.
