Upham Inns in Southern England is offering a Commis Chef Apprenticeship designed to develop your cooking skills in a busy pub kitchen. No prior experience is required as full on-the-job training will be provided, with a 12-month program leading to a Level 2 Apprenticeship.

You will work around your life with flexible shifts, earning an hourly rate with a share of tips, plus benefits such as paid holiday and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the food preparation process
• Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes
• Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
• Assisting other Chefs
• Helping with deliveries and restocking
• Assisting with stock rotation
• Cleaning stations
• Maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
