Upham Inns invites applications for a Commis Chef apprenticeship across our collection of premium pubs in Southern England. The 12-month program includes on-the-job training with our skilled chefs, no prior experience required, and a paid position with at least 30 hours per week.

You will learn food prep, cooking, knife skills, stock rotation, and kitchen safety, with shifts including days, evenings and weekends to fit life balance.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided

Responsibilities

• Assisting in food preparation
• Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes
• Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
• Assisting other Chefs
• Helping with deliveries and restocking
• Assisting with stock rotation
• Cleaning stations
• Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
