Job summary

Upham Inns in Southern England is seeking a Commis Chef apprentice to learn on the job across a range of kitchen duties, from food preparation and dish assembly to stock rotation and safety standards.

The 12-month apprenticeship includes full on-the-job training, 30 hours per week paid work, 25 days holiday, and staff discounts. Flexible hours, a friendly team, and real development opportunities are offered to help you grow.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the food preparation process
• Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes
• Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
• Assisting other Chefs
• Helping with deliveries and restocking
• Assisting with stock rotation

• Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
