Job summary

SSP is seeking a Commis Chef at Bristol Airport to join a fast-paced kitchen team. You will earn £14.16 per hour with a £1.20 premium for hours between midnight and 6 AM, bringing the rate to £15.36 per hour, plus additional service charges.

Shifts run 11:00 to 23:00 across weekdays, weekends, and holidays with flexible rosters and no split shifts. We offer training, development programs, and employee discounts as part of a vibrant hospitality environment at the airport.

Qualifications

• 5 years of references and Criminal Record Check required.
• Must be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or shifts.

Responsibilities

• Accurate cooking and presentation to spec.
• Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately.
• Keep your workstation clean and organised.
• Contribute to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
• Previous kitchen experience is desirable. We will provide your uniform & equipment.

COMMIS CHEF - CABIN BAR, BRISTOL AIRPORT

Hours of operation are 11am to 11 pm. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays. We pride ourselves on ensuring a great work/life balance, with days off together where possible and no split shifts.
