Job summary

SSP UK & Ireland is hiring a Chef de Partie for the Cabin Bar at Bristol Airport. The role involves leading a busy kitchen, maintaining top culinary standards, and coordinating admin tasks such as hygiene records and stocktakes.

You will work 11:00 to 23:00 across weekdays and holidays, with a focus on work-life balance and no split shifts. The successful candidate will have hands-on cooking experience in a high-volume setting, strong leadership, and be able to support recruitment and team

Qualifications

• Ability to lead by example and stay calm under pressure.
• Hands-on chef with a positive attitude.
• 5 years of references and Criminal Record Check required.
• 18+ for certain tasks or shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the kitchen.
• Assist with administration for the kitchen, including food hygiene records, stocktakes, wastage sheets and cleanliness records.
• Support the Manager in the recruitment, induction and retention of the Kitchen Team.
• Maintain the highest culinary standards whilst delivering excellence in every dish.
• At least one year's experience in a similar high-volume kitchen role is desirable.

CHEF DE PARTIE - CABIN BAR, BRISTOL AIRPORT

Pay Rate: £15.60 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.50 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, bringing your rate of pay to £17.10 per hour.

You will also receive additional service charge!

Hours of operation are 11 am to 11 pm. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays. We pride ourselves on ensuring a great work/life balance, with days off together where possible and no split shifts.
