Job summary

The Spotted Horse pub in Putney is seeking a Commis Chef to join its busy kitchen. You will prepare fresh dishes, work closely with the team, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

• We are seeking a practical Commis Chef with a passion for fresh, quality food and a welcoming approach for guests.
• Proven ability to work as part of a busy kitchen team, maintain standards, and learn new skills quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and plating as part of the kitchen brigade.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.
• Support senior chefs to deliver top quality service during service periods.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute daily prep and mise en place tasks.
• Demonstrate organisational skills to manage tasks and deadlines efficiently.
