Job summary

Cubitt House Pub is seeking a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. You will work under senior chefs, handling fresh, seasonal ingredients and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef in a quality kitchen.
• Solid understanding of classic techniques and seasonal cooking.
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Full eligibility to work in the UK.

Commis Chef - £14-16/hour OTE (Including Tronc)
We're looking for a Commis Chef to join the team at our Cubitt House Pub. The ideal candidate has a passion and flare for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makes people feel welcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Run your section with confidence, consistency, and pride.
• Prepare and present dishes to Cubitt House standards.
• Support senior chefs with daily prep, service, and kitchen organisation.
• Work with fresh, seasonal, sustainable British ingredients.
