Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a reputable Castleford dealership. The role offers £50,000 OTE uncapped, 33 days holiday and a strong benefits package, with ongoing training including IMI EV maintenance.

You will service and repair commercial vehicles, diagnose faults and maintain thorough records in a professional workshop environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Full, valid driving licence required.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills and workmanship quality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and identify effective repair solutions.
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required.
• Ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer standards and recorded.
• Maintain accurate service records for all work.
• Work closely with the workshop team to maintain productivity.
• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with automotive technology.

THE ROLE:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Previous experience working as an Automotive Technician on commercial vehicles.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team.
• A professional, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
