Pembrook Resourcing LTD is recruiting an experienced Commercial Technician for an established commercial vehicle dealership in the Northampton area.

The role involves servicing, maintenance and repair on vans and light commercial vehicles, fault finding and diagnostics, and working in a professional workshop with strong earning potential.

The package includes a strong basic salary (£34,000–£38,000) plus £55,000–£60,000 OTE and a 1 in 3 Saturdays working pattern.

Responsibilities

COMMERCIAL TECHNICIAN

Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Commercial Technician for an established commercial vehicle dealership in the Northampton area.

This is a strong opportunity for a skilled technician who is confident working on vans and light commercial vehicles, enjoys fault-finding and diagnostics, and wants a role offering a competitive basic salary with excellent earning potential.

THE OPPORTUNITY

• £34,000–£38,000 basic salary

THE ROLE

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work on commercial vehicles and LCVs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
• Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard
• Carry out inspections and identify required work
• Work closely with the wider workshop team to maintain productivity and quality
• Complete all work in line with manufacturer and dealership standards
• Maintain accurate job-card and repair documentation

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll need:

• Strong hands-on Vehicle Technician experience
• Confidence servicing, maintaining and repairing vans / light commercial vehicles
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Strong attention to detail
• A professional and reliable approach
• The ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment

It would be particularly useful if you also have:

• Commercial Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician experience
• Main-dealer or manufacturer-franchise experience
• Ford Transit or similar commercial vehicle experience
• Relevant technical qualifications
