Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy aftersales team in Erdington, Birmingham. The role offers a competitive basic salary and benefits, with ongoing manufacturer training and career development.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 and proven experience on light commercial vehicles, plus a full UK driving licence. An MOT qualification would be advantageous and main dealership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
• Proven experience working on light commercial vehicles.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
• An MOT testing qualification would be advantageous.
• Main dealership experience would be beneficial.
• A strong work ethic, good diagnostic skills and pride in delivering quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
• Deliver excellent technical service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Work on light commercial vehicles within a busy workshop environment.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Complete ongoing training, including achieving IMI Level 3 in Electric Vehicle Maintenance and Repair within the first 12 months.
