The Role

We are looking for a Commercial Strategy Area Manager to join our South West & Wales team. You'll build relationships with restaurant partners in Bath, Cardiff, and Swansea, enhancing our proposition for customers and identifying growth opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building and data-driven insights. You will report to the Regional Manager for South West & Wales and be based in Bristol.

What you'll do:

  • Become the local expert for Bath, Cardiff, and Swansea, representing Deliveroo in these areas.
  • Analyze data to improve our customer experience neighborhood by neighborhood.
  • Manage top restaurant partners, leading negotiations and optimizing their performance on Deliveroo for growth.
  • Support the growth of local hero brands alongside Account Managers.
  • Identify and onboard new popular local restaurants, setting them up for success.
  • Lead local Business Development Managers, providing coaching, priority setting, and deal-making.
  • Develop local sales strategies, focusing on closing key value gaps.
  • Enhance our local customer offering through market knowledge, improving restaurant selection and operations, and collaborating on strategic planning.
  • Maximize marketing opportunities by encouraging restaurant participation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in account/relationship management, sales, or strategy roles.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on targets.
  • Ability to interpret and utilize data to identify improvement areas.
  • Hybrid work model: 2-3 days in the field and 2-3 days remote.
  • Preferably hold a UK driving license and own a car.
