Commercial Property Solicitor
Location: Torquay

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Commercial Property Solicitor to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team in the South West. If you're ambitious, motivated, and ready to take on high-quality work with genuine career progression, this role could be the perfect fit.

The Role

You will be part of a busy real estate department, handling a broad range of matters for commercial landlords and tenants. Work will span:

  • Joint ventures, retail and leisure projects
  • Acquisitions and developments for commercial and mixed‑use sites
  • Portfolio sales and acquisitions
  • Business transfers (restaurants, guest houses, and more)
  • Advising on commercial contracts and project management

Alongside managing your own caseload, you'll play a key role in business development building strong client relationships, networking, and contributing to marketing initiatives. This is a role with real scope for growth, offering clear progression pathways and the chance to make a tangible impact.

About you
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in commercial property law, with the ability to run matters independently
  • Strong technical skills and solid commercial awareness
  • A proactive, enthusiastic approach with a genuine interest in business development
  • Confidence working both autonomously and collaboratively within a supportive team
