An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well-regarded regional law firm with a strong presence across the South West. Due to continued growth, the Commercial Property team is looking to recruit a solicitor with around 1 year PQE to join its Sherborne office. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer seeking high-quality work, genuine responsibility and clear opportunities for long-term career development.

Joining an experienced and supportive property team, you will advise a broad range of clients including SMEs, investors, developers, landlords and tenants across a variety of commercial property matters.

Your workload is likely to include:

• Commercial acquisitions and disposals
• Landlord and tenant matters
• Lease grants, renewals and assignments
• Commercial property investment transactions
• Secured lending and property finance work
• Development and site acquisition matters
• Easements, rights of way and property-related agreements
• Supporting senior lawyers on larger and more complex transactions

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with circa 1+ years' PQE in Commercial Property
• Experience handling a range of commercial property matters
• Ability to manage your own files with appropriate supervision
• Strong technical and drafting skills
• Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Ambitious and keen to progress your career within a growing team
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative environment
