Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE in commercial property law.
• Strong understanding of commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals and landlord & tenant matters.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience using case management systems and legal software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, leases and property finance.
• Act for investors, developers, landlords and commercial occupiers on property transactions.
• Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients on commercial property issues.
• Draft and negotiate commercial leases, agreements for lease, licences and other transactional documentation.
• Conduct due diligence including title investigations, searches and reporting to clients and lenders.
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and other professionals to ensure transactions progress efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, firm policies and professional standards.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships while delivering excellent client service.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments including corporate and finance teams.

The position offers exposure to a varied commercial property workload, regular client contact and scope to play an active part in the team’s continued development.
