Job summary

MD Law in Sheffield is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE to join the busy Commercial Property Team. You will handle a broad range of high-quality matters for a diverse client base and work closely with experienced colleagues in a supportive environment.

You will manage a varied caseload, advise on leases and renewals, conduct title checks, liaise with lenders, draft documentation, and contribute to client care and business development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE, or equivalent commercial property experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial property law.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently with supervision.
• Proactive, professional, and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Handling a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, finance, disposals, and landlord and tenant work.
• Advising clients on commercial leases, renewals, assignments, and variations.
• Conducting title investigations, due diligence, and reporting to clients and lenders.
• Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and other professional advisers.
• Drafting and negotiating commercial property documentation.
• Managing matters efficiently in line with deadlines and regulatory requirements.
