Douglas Scott Global Recruitment is seeking a commercially minded solicitor to join a supportive regional practice in Coventry. You will handle a varied caseload of commercial property transactions and advise clients to deliver practical, commercially focused legal solutions.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 1–4 years PQE in Commercial Property.
• Experience handling a range of commercial property transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Advising clients on commercial property acquisitions and disposals.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial leases, lease renewals and associated documentation.
• Advising on landlord and tenant matters, including lease assignments and licences to alter.
• Undertaking property due diligence, reviewing title documents and identifying potential risks.
• Supporting clients with property-related aspects of wider commercial transactions.
• Liaising with clients, other solicitors, agents, lenders and relevant parties to progress transactions efficiently.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear, practical and commercially focused advice.
• Managing deadlines, competing priorities and transaction-related risks effectively.
• Contributing to business development activities and supporting the continued growth of the team.
