Job summary

Liberty Towers is seeking a qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in commercial property to join our Leighton Buzzard team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will own a varied caseload, shape the property practice, and act as a trusted adviser to clients.

You will manage leases, acquisitions, disposals, and landlord/tenant matters, while driving business development and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires strong drafting, negotiation, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

What you’ll bring

• Strong consulting and advisory skills, with the ability to give clear, pragmatic commercial property advice
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, and the knack of explaining complex legal issues in accessible language
• A customer service focus and a track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships
• Experience in sales and business development within legal or professional services, including networking and cross-selling
• Solid technical expertise in real estate and commercial property law, with at least 5 years PQE managing a varied caseload
• Qualification as a solicitor (or equivalent legal qualification), with a current practising certificate and good knowledge of UK property law
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment
• The ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a small team
• Familiarity with case management systems and standard office software, and a willingness to adapt to new technologies
