Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 2-6 years PQE in commercial property.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills with solid transactional experience.
• Excellent client-facing manner and ability to manage a varied fee-earning caseload with minimal supervision.
• Commercially aware with interest in business development and building client relationships.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collegiate environment.

Responsibilities

• Acting on commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases and lease renewals.
• Advising landlord and tenant clients on a range of commercial property matters.
• Liaising with clients, agents and other professionals throughout transactions.
• Advising on real estate finance matters, including acting for lenders and borrowers on secured property transactions.
• Supporting development projects, including site acquisitions, option agreements, overage arrangements and pre-let agreements.
• Advising on landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, and dilapidations.
• Handling the property aspects of corporate transactions, including sale and purchase due diligence.
• Drafting and negotiating commercial leases, licences, easements and other property documentation.
• Advising investor and occupier clients on portfolio management and asset management matters.

The Role
