Our client, a global organisation, urgently requires an experienced Commercial Procurement Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

In order to be successful, it is essential that you have the following experience:

• Extensive commercial experience within big transformation programmes, particularly within the Defence sector.
• Strong commercial skills in negotiating contracts, developing strategies, forming industry partnerships, and creating commercial packages.
• Experience in high-value commercial procurement, whether for products or services.
• SC Clearance.

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

• Drafting procurement and commercial strategies, including developing credible options to support client decision-making, covering aspects such as commercial structures, lotting arrangements, payment and pricing mechanisms, route to market approaches, and evaluation strategies.
• Supporting the creation of key market-facing procurement documentation, including PQQs, ITN/ITPD, Heads of Terms, and Contracts.
• Executing rigorous analysis to generate insights and build an evidence base supporting solution development and change.
• Contributing to negotiations between Defence/Public Sector entities and commercial suppliers.
• Developing contract management operating models to help the client define structures that deliver value from commercial arrangements.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams involved in solution design, business transformation, and business case activities to develop coherent procurement strategies aligned with strategic goals.
• Building strong professional relationships with clients and third parties, including HMG suppliers.
• Coordinating with internal teams such as Digital Strategy, Innovation, Cyber Security, and Data Analytics to ensure effective application of expertise and a seamless client experience.
• Proactively developing your skills, expanding knowledge, and sharing insights with colleagues.
