ProcureOne are currently partnering with a growing financial services organisation to help them recruit a new Procurement Manager to support a number of key business transformation projects.

As Procurement Manager your role will work closely with business change and project teams to ensure value is achieved across a range of areas including IT, Professional Services, Property and Marketing. You will take full ownership of commercial and contractual negotiations, partnering stakeholders through project timelines.

Accountabilities will include:

• Lead and manage end to end strategic and tactical sourcing projects across multiple categories such as IT, Professional Services, Consultancy, Marketing and Property, selecting appropriate sourcing event, following formal sourcing processes and handing off to the business and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
• Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs, cost saving opportunities.
• Deliver effective demand management and address third party risk management (TPRM) matters.
• Proactive identification of new sourcing initiatives through deep relationships with business leads and the change team.
• Negotiating commercial and contractual terms with third parties.
• Enabling budget holders to optimise their budgets and deliver business requirements at best value with minimised risk.
• Identifying and delivering cost saving and cost avoidance opportunities to meet budget holder targets, producing MI as required.
• Collaborating with Procurement category managers to ensure that transformation projects are complementary to their activities in the IT, Professional Services and Corporate Services categories, reflecting corporate objectives.
• Embedding the procurement governance framework and Outsourcing policy.
• Supporting the development of Procurement’s supplier contract management and governance system.

This role will suit procurement individuals with a generalist background (good IT sourcing experience will be important). Experience working within the financial services sector will be preferred.

You must be able to demonstrate where you have led procurement activities to support complex business transformation projects in the past.

You must be able to work from the central London office 2 or 3 days per week and you must have UK right to work.
