Job Opportunity: Commercial Officer

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our client in the Defence Sector, seeking a Commercial Officer for an initial 6-month assignment with an option to extend.

Location: Hybrid working - London or Bristol

Essential Skills:

The ideal candidate will hold active SC clearance and have a proven background in Commercial / Procurement Management, with the following skills and experience:

1. Experience in Public sector End-to-end Procurement.
2. Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 & PCR 2015.
3. Support in end-to-end sourcing of Information Technology / Digital Procurement contracts within Defence or Central Government.
4. Experience in developing and delivering complex Invitations to Tender, negotiations, and contracts.
5. Familiarity with Qualifying Defence Contracts (QDCs) - Desired.
6. Understanding of Oracle Fusion or similar Enterprise Resource Planning systems - Desired.
