Reporting to the Head of Operations and Architecture, the Commercial Manager will oversee a contract portfolio valued at over £10m, encompassing more than 100 contracts throughout their lifecycle. The role involves ensuring value for money (VFM) and negotiating added value from all contracts.
The Commercial Manager will manage relationships with all third-party suppliers and will take the lead on high-risk, high-value contracts, maintaining visibility and oversight. Key responsibilities include ensuring the performance and delivery of these contracts, managing compliance requirements, taking corrective actions when necessary, and developing a contracts register for future renewal planning.
