Job summary

ICAEW Manchester seeks a qualified Management Accountant to own monthly management accounts, provide detailed P&L analysis and commentary across the business. You will drive balance sheet reconciliations, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to Board and statutory reporting.

You will also lead process improvements across finance, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with strong month-end and P&L analysis skills.
• Experience in balance sheet reconciliations and detailed financial commentary.
• Commercially minded with ability to partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly management accounts and provide P&L analysis and commentary.
• Investigate variances and advise on costs, overheads and profitability.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and support budgeting/forecasting.
