Job summary

Cmc Consulting is seeking a hands-on Management Accountant to support day-to-day finance operations and strengthen financial processes as the business scales. You will own management reporting, month-end close, cash flow monitoring and financial controls across 5 entities internationally.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will collaborate with stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis, while driving finance transformation initiatives and ensuring UK GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• ACCA or CIMA qualified or part-qualified, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ accounting and finance experience, including management reporting and month-end close.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and audit processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with cloud accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Own month-, quarter- and year-end close across group entities.
• Prepare management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and local statutory requirements.
• Support annual audits and statutory reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain the cash forecast.
• Prepare VAT returns and support multi-jurisdiction tax compliance alongside external advisors.
• Partner with operational stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis.
• Drive process improvement, automation and finance transformation initiatives.
