Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments and journals.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Produce regular management reporting with commentary on performance.
• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business.
• Analyse revenue, costs, margins and key business drivers.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities and translate into actionable insight.
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
• Support development of reporting, processes and controls.
• Involvement in ad hoc commercial analysis and finance projects.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-qualified Commercial Management Accountant to join a growing and commercially focused business.

This is an excellent role for an ambitious ACCA / CIMA / ACA studier looking to develop their commercial finance experience, working closely with senior stakeholders and playing a key role in providing meaningful financial insight to support business performance and decision-making.

The role

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments and journals
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

The ideal candidate

You will be a part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with strong management accounting experience and a genuine interest in developing within commercial finance.
